Your bio in a tweet: Shawn was born July 5. Weighing in at 8 pounds 6 ounces, he was the only of his mother’s children (nods Jay-Zingly). Since the womb he’s been a curious one and was raised to love his Blackness. Now he studies how other Black parents teach their youth to love theirs. He’s lived in 7 states, but he’s always at home with soul food and good music.
